American actress Allison Brooks Janney was born on November 19, 1959. Through her thirty years, Allison Brooks Janney has earned acclaim for both stage and film performances. In her role in the Showtime series Masters of Sex, Margaret Scully, Janney won the Primetime Emmy Award 2014 for Outstanding Guest Actress In the Drama Series. Janney has been nominated for the prestigious six Primetime Emmy Awards, and she won twice the Outstanding Supporting Actress in Comedy Drama Series.
